This project reworks the existing pool area with a timber-clad pool house and reimagined landscaping, transforming it into a serene, light-filled retreat that blurs the boundary between inside and out.

The building keeps a simple form, but the details are carefully resolved. Junctions, glazing, timber panels and terrace links are all handled with precision, so the quality comes through in its simplicity.

Inside, a small kitchenette and seating area make the space practical and welcoming while generous glazing frames key views and floods the interior with natural light.
Painted timber panelling inside, along with paving that runs seamlessly from the terrace into the pool house, strengthens the connection between the interior and the garden.

The surrounding landscaping complements the simple structure. Banked beds along the raised pool terrace are planted with wildflowers, softening edges and adding texture. A gently curved terrace extends to create a dining area, introducing organic movement and enhancing the relationship between pool, house, and landscape.
Together, the pool house and garden form a calm, cohesive retreat that balances practicality with a sense of quiet elegance.
