A gentle, budget-conscious update of a 1960s bungalow in Ringwood, designed to improve day-to-day enjoyment of the home ahead of a more extensive refurbishment planned within the next five to ten years.

The kitchen was refreshed rather than fully replaced, with painted doors, new worktops, and updated appliances lifting the space while retaining the existing floor and cabinetry. The introduction of modern furniture and lighting further enhanced the room, giving it a brighter, more contemporary feel without a full refit.

The bathroom was fully redesigned for a young family, with a built-in niche bath that creates warmth and intimacy while maximising the compact footprint. Cost-effective tiles were chosen but laid with care to achieve a more refined, considered finish.
